Classics Direct Home Furnishings

Classics Direct asked us to design and build an online shop for them to sell their home furnishings. The website needed to be able to act as a product brochure to show the full range of their 500+ products allowing customers to browse and then add to their 'shopping basket' before buying them.

Using the finished website is simple and safe. Online payments using credit and debit cards are sent over a secure connection and allow payments to be made and received instantly.

The website also acts as a stock and inventory control alerting Classics Direct if stock levels fall below a certain point and automatically removing items from the website if they run out of stock.

The Colour of Health

The Colour of Health aims to provide health information and lifestyle tips primarily for women from a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs and traditions living in the UK.

We were commissioned to create an online resource and community forum for this magazine including news feeds, subscriptions and an archive section.

This bespoke website was built for Victoria Kershaw primarily as a point of contact and gallery for her work.

The site uses a simple content management system to edit several of the pages, and image pre-loading as the site is very heavily image based.

The brief for this site meant integrating a complex content management system to allow all aspects of the site to be updated by Orchis Floral Design.

New pages can also be added and taken away as often as needed as their type of business is very seasonal.

Shabby Chic, Lancaster

This is an example of a budget e-commerce site. Full e-commerce is often prohibitively expensive and complex for small businesses so we built a PayPal shopping cart for this site.

Orders can be made and payments taken with no fees other than the PayPal payment handling fee.

The Lavender Barn - French Furniture

The Lavender Barn wanted an updatable online catalogue of their furniture, which would allow people to view their products online. This was intended to save on the need to produce huge furniture catalogues to give to shop customers to take home.

The Lavender Barn are currently trialing online payments using PayPal with a view to possibly upgrading their site to a full ecommerce site if online sales are successful.
