Established in 2005 and based in Sheffield, Seven Website design aims to provide clean and simple websites and, wherever possible, tries to empower the customer by encouraging ownership of the updating process and providing ways for them to manage their own website. We pride ourselves on our levels of service and support, and empathy with the customer and their needs is of utmost importance. Ethical PolicyOur ethical policy comes down to one long-term approach: We refuse to unnecessarily tie customers in to long term costs for updating, changing or adding to their website when there is no need. Wherever possible, we will offer the customer the ability to do this for themselves. This policy has developed from experiences our clients have had with previous website companies whereby their payments for support etc each year have been phenomenal. We feel strongly that this is not an acceptable approach. We also support several charitable organisations. Most notable of these is the Wellbeing of Women charity. Environmental PolicyWe are very much committed to reducing waste and encouraging sustainability. We recycle all office waste products, use energy from green suppliers with a carbon offset and use sustainable resources wherever possible. We currently provide free consultancy to a number of Green projects. Meet the teamChris Day - Principle Designer & Programmer - Chris trained in Web Design, Graphic Design and Art and then went on to work in Sales and Marketing then IT support before setting up Seven Website Design Limited in 2005. He has worked for several high-profile blue-chip clients in London such as BBC, National Geographic, Powergen, Motorola, Siemens, Hyundai, McVities (United Biscuits), The Law Society and Jet Petroleum. Clair Day Ba(hons) Mba – Operations Manager. Clair is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and client liaison. She has ten years experience in Marketing and Business Management in both commercial and business-to-business environments and is qualified to a high level in Business Management and Business Administration. Chris Parsons - Sales and Marketing - Chris Parsons has been employed for the past 15 years in the London, UK recruitment industries, working in busy sales environments, as a Technical and Construction Recruitment Consultant. Previous to that he spent 25 years working as a contract draughtsman employed by various major and international blue chip clients and covering industries as diverse as local authorities, architectural, oil and gas and civils. Chris is now happy to be working with, and bring his experience in sales to Seven Website Design Limited, as a sales consultant. Kris - IT Hardware and Software support (on-site) - Kris has several years experience working in Hardware and Software support and looks after all 7WD's on-site work. Sandra - Administration and Customer Support - Sandra has worked for 7WD since 2005 and takes care of administration and Customer support. |
